The founder and managing partner of the boutique corporate law firm Gershman Law, PLLC, Dyan Gershman has over 25 years of corporate law experience and has led many large U.S. and cross-border transactions. Dyan Gershman, through her law firm, provides a wide range of commercial and corporate legal services. Her firm represents individuals and corporations and includes domestic and international clients. Dyan Gershman is a longstanding member of the New York City Bar Association (NYC Bar).
Founded in 1870, the NYC Bar represents the interest of lawyers and law students in New York City and has more than 25,000 members. Through its nonprofit affiliate the City Bar Fund, the association marshals New York City lawyers to engage in charitable work for those in need and to do good work for the legal profession. The City Bar Fund has four programs. The City Bar Justice Center program provides pro bono legal services to low income and underserved people in New York City. The Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice program provides pro bono legal representation to dozens of social justice organizations and international human rights organizations to promote human rights and access to justice in foreign countries. The Office for Diversity and Inclusion program works toward greater diversity and inclusion in law firms and corporations. Finally, the City Bar Fund’s Lawyer Assistance Program provides mental health and addiction services for individuals in the legal community. The City Bar Fund programs assist over 30,000 people each year.
